Unfortunately you will need a visa to visit Russia. Fortunately we will make it as painless as possible for you. When you book a holiday with us the cost of the visa and invitation is included in the cost. If you just book a hotel or are going to visit friends then the cost of the invitation and visa is extra (usually the hotel will send you your invitation and take care of your registration) This information applies to UK citizens and is correct at the time this was printed, you should check at the Russian Consulate for the latest information if you are only booking a hotel/staying with friends. In order to get your invitation we need to know your passport details, start & end of your trip, where you will apply for your visa (London/Edinburgh), you can only apply in your country of citizenship.
BUSINESS VISA In order to get a business visa we need to have a copy of your passport, your business details, where you plan to stay in Russia, a valid working telephone number, which cities you plan to visit and which visa duration you would like.

PETERSBURG.....35 EURO.............55 EURO..............70 EURO You should be booking a holiday at least 2 months in advance so you will have enough time to get your visa - it takes about 8 working days but it is better not to leave it to the last minute as this will be VERY expensive. Invitations are sent out only after the holiday/hotel has been paid in full. When you book a holiday with us you will not have to worry as we will sort all this out for you, just a few questions, a copy of your travel insurance, your passport, signature and voila! For those booking hotels and flights separately/staying with friends you will receive by email the invitation & hotel voucher and then you will need to visit the consulate website http://www.rusemblon.org Click on to the tourist visa section, fill in the details online, print it out, then with the requisite documents and a POSTAL ORDER for £45 with a return addressed Special delivery envelope inside your own Special delivery envelope and post them off to:-

BELARUS TRANSIT VISA You will need a Belarus transit visa if you are traveling from London to Moscow or St. Petersburg on the direct London-Brussels-Berlin-Warsaw-Moscow or St. Petersburg route, as all the direct trains from Paris, Cologne, Berlin or Warsaw to Moscow or St Petersburg pass through Belarus. However, getting a Belarus transit visa is quite straightforward but you will need to get your Russian visa first. A Belarus transit visa now costs £44 one-way or £79 return if you arrange it yourself. It will take about 6 working days to be returned to you. To find out more and download the visa form click on BELARUS VISA The embassy address in London is 6 Kensington Court, London W8 5DL, phone 020 7938 3677, visa section open 09:00-12:30 Monday-Friday. CHINESE VISA For travel on the Trans- Manchurian and Trans - Mongolian trains then you will need a Chinese visa The visa costs £30 (cash) for a single entry and you have to make an online appointment for the visa interview (postal applications are not accepted). MONGOLIAN VISA For travel through Mongolia then you will need to get a Mongolian tourist visa (for staying in Mongolia) or a transit visa for passing through. Their website is not always easy to get onto, but keep trying. You fill the form out online and then print it out. The embassy accepts postal applications, there is an extra £5 charge for this but it includes posting back to you, A single entry visa and a transit visa costs £35, same day issue costs an extra £20. SCHENGEN VISAS FOR FOREIGN NATIONALS BORN OUTSIDE THE EEC MARRIED TO A BRITISH SUBJECT. These are free of charge, but you have to fill the visa form out for the first country you will visit. Typically you will receive a 6 months visa for that country.
